Temple Bojongmenje

Located at an altitude of 698 m above sea level, Temple Bojongmende occupies an area of ​​843 m². This temple is thought to originate from the century 5-6 (Hary, 2002), or the 7th century (Djubiantono, 2002). The discovery of phallus and yoni in restoration activities in 2004 at the foot of the temple foundation makes it clear that religion which underlie the construction of this temple is a Hindu Bojongmenje-Šiava (Siwaisme), because-yoni phallus was a symbol of Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvati who combined for purposes of worship.
